Moonstruck by a Mind Unhinged
Every droplet dripping from the caves in my eyes
Lands upon the earth, a place that isn’t mine
And every skin will crawl as I flux inside my own
My body forever shall linger until I find my home
They monitor every twitch like a martyr in the street
Every answer cross-examined like a criminal in the seat
And they peer inside my eyes in hopes to see themselves
As I sweat so damned profusely, chained beneath this cell
Grabbing their coats and clipboards and shuffling down to hell
With both wrists and ankles locked and tied
Every limb cuffed to thy hospital throne
They shoot a needle into my arm
-tearing down to the bone
A missile erupts and I’m laughing
Every soul is sure to go
I awake in a fog - formed thick around my mind
Every attack is evident as I travel space and time
After years I have rummaged in this terra void alone
I close my eyes and beam light, o heavens I am home
